    Also, how do they interface with smartphones?Are those sensors syncing just with android/iOS only or they have an open API? Your help will be appreciated! Cheers!

    Not sure about their operating system, most fitness bands are generally just consistent of an accelerometer, Bluetooth chip, sometimes a gps or wireless chip, even rare an altimeter. There the ones I can think of on the top of my head.
