    Hi Guys,

So your vivosmart HR knows you wear right or left wrist.
Also allows landscape or portrait display - all good.

    So here's the thing -
    I wear left wrist.
When I turn my wrist to the right to view the display, the illumination get brighter.
Opposite if the light shutting of on your iphone when you put it to your ear.

So, for the Garmin, how do switch this off?
I'm loving the HR but getting so much pain from wife because it illuminates in the night when i move or turn over.

Nor what you expected to read, but seriously forum - i need a solution.
(A garmin solution, not take it off / ditch the wife - she's ok most times).

    Thanks.

I don't have a Garmin Vivoactive HR to try this on, but it sounds like you need to activate the device's sleep mode before going to bed.

To this follow the instructions on Garmin's suite here: https://www8.garmin.com/manuals/webh...8B825A090.html
