Poll: what kind of navigation device do you use in the car?

I thought I'd like to get a sense on what is being used these days when you are in your car. So, as the poll states, what kind of navigation device do you use in the car? Do you use an: In-Car GPS Navigation, GPS Navigation device, Smartphone with a navigation app, Smartwatch with a navigation app, or old-fashioned physical street maps?

As an aside, for those that used to (or maybe you still do ) use physical street maps, what kind did/do you use (AAA, Rand McNally, Mapquest, etc.)?

Google maps 99% of the time. Standard nav units tend to be outdated fast, and I always have my phone.

I do carry a Garmin Nuvi if I'm trekking into areas where cell data may be weak, but it's an emergency tool.

Google maps, but I have been late to two weddings because of it. Unfortunately it's not as good outside of the big cities.

Google Maps, TeleNav Scout and Copilot (for complete offline solution) on M8. LOL, the drawbacks of reviewing software for a living.

I've been using cell-based navigation software since my BB 8320.

has anyone pre-ordered a Navdy? seems pretty cool / legit, but a high price tag for early adopters.

    cheers,

Navdy's price is a bit high for early adoption IMO. If it were to put it more in line price-wise with traditional GPS devices ($200 or less), then I could see it selling more. That being said, I like the concept, and would consider one.

I would consider it, but all maps are broken outside of the USA.

I use Microsoft Streets and Trips on an 11" computer and a GPS hooked up to it. Unfortunately, MS is discontinuing it.

Apple Map on my iPhone. It's accurate enough in where I go, and for some reason if I use Google Map while my iPhone is connected to my car (both by Bluetooth and cable) it keeps dialing my own phone number, which is very annoying. I could also use Blinggo on my iPhone through my indash display but subscription fee is not worthwhile for me.
